Thermage - Combined treatments
Thermage has been recently used successfully in combination with fillers, such as Sculptra , Radiesse and Restylane.
The Thermage treatment is used a few weeks after the implantation of the filler. No untoward effects have been noted clinically.
In one experiment, biopsies were done and no abnormality was found. Thus, Thermage following a filler is a safe form of combination treatment.
We are also using Thermage for firming of the skin that may become loose or flabby after our Liposuction procedures. Liposuction followed by Thermage can be an excellent combination for body, arms and thigh remodeling. We are using the new Thermage NXT.

Increased incidence of Basal Cell Carcinomas in sun tanners
Previous studies have demonstrated an increased incidence of Squamous Cell Carcinomas and Malignant Melanomas in tanning bed users. Now, a recent article shows an increase of early onset of Basal Cell Carcinomas among users of tanning beds.
