Non Surgical Face Lift Treatment

For the past several years, with the advent of deep intradermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Radiesse and subdermal fillers such as Sculptra, a new era in facial rejuvenation has arrived. Complemented by noninvasive tightening techniques such as Thermage, Refirme and Titan, many patients have opted out of the surgical facelift.

Furthermore, the surgical facelift only redrapes the face and tightens the skin. It does very little to compensate for the loss of fat and bone. It does nothing for a person who wants a larger chin.

Recently we have been using Radiesse (a deep dermal/subdermal filler containing Calcium Hydroxyapatite) combined with Juvederm (a Hyaluronic acid deep dermal filler) to correct the resorption of bone on the chin or a small chin in a younger person who wants her/his chin enhanced.

We also use Sculptra alone or in combination with Thermage or Refirme to enhance the cheeks. Small bone imperfections of the nose can now be corrected with Juvederm and Restylane. Following these procedures, some patients will still want (and indeed benefit from) a surgical facelift, but some will be quite pleased with the new non-surgical options.
