We offer Aesthera® - the most innovative hair removal technology. It is an intense pulsed light device that makes use of photopneumatic technique to physically bring the hair follicle closer to the skin surface, thus enhancing the melanin target and reducing the hemoglobin target (i.e. red blood cells) for increased effectiveness. Given the improved absorption of light by the target, lower energies are able to be used, resulting in much less patient discomfort. These treatments are virtually painless.
Finally, Aesthera® comes with multiple tip sizes that can be tailored to the specific treatment site (e.g. a large tip for the chest, back, or leg; a small tip for the upper lip), so that treatments are carried out most expediently and with much more precision.
Aesthera® is also very effective in the treatment of moderate acne, rosacea and acne rosacea.

Increased incidence of Basal Cell Carcinomas in sun tanners
Previous studies have demonstrated an increased incidence of Squamous Cell Carcinomas and Malignant Melanomas in tanning bed users. Now, a recent article shows an increase of early onset of Basal Cell Carcinomas among users of tanning beds.
