For the past 2 years a connection between obesity and psoriasis has been suggested (Archives of Internal Medicine 2007: 167:170). Recently, a controlled study has shown that loss of 7% of body weight can be a very effective adjunct to psoriasis treatment (American Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2008 Nov: 88:1242).
