New cosmetic advance
Pimecrolimus cream (Elidel) was found to be effective in Perioral Dermatitis, an annoying condition of mostly young and middle aged women.Multiple small (2-3mm) bumps and pimples on a red base are present, often after treatment with steroid creams.The treatment brought 50% improvement in appearance and also an improvement in the quality of the patients' life.
