Dr. Eugene Mandrea is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a former Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, a member of the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Phlebology.

After residency, Lauren Fine, MD spent eight months completing a cosmetic and research fellowship under the direction of Dr. Amy Taub at Advanced Dermatology in Lincolnshire, IL. There she received intensive training on the newest injectable materials and injection techniques, as well as in-depth training on lasers procedures, including the E-matrix, Fraxel® , and CO2 fractional resurfacing with the QuadraLASE™. She also served as an investigator for clinical trials studying the effects of various dermatologic medications and devices. Dr. Fine has published numerous articles in major Dermatology journals and given presentations at local and nationwide meetings. Dr. Fine enjoys treating patients of all ages. Her professional interests include the medical and laser treatment of acne, hair abnormalities, and cosmetic dermatology. She is looking forward to practicing in the Lakeview neighborhood, close to her home and family in River North.

Ms. Johnson graduated from the Cook County Hospital/ Malcolm X College Physician Assistant Program in 2002, the oldest and one of the most competitive programs in Illinois. She is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the state of Illinois. She is also an adjunct instructor for the Physician Assistant program she graduated from. Her interests include Multicultural hair and skin, pediatric dermatology, psoriasis, acne, cosmetic skin treatments, and many other common skin conditions.

A Physician Assistant is a medically licensed mid-level health care provider who has the ability and knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat a multitude of medical conditions. In addition to prescribing medications, Physician Assistants are commonly seen performing many procedures such as excisions of moles and skin cancers, as well as, lasers and cosmetic treatments. Physician Assistants recertify their knowledge of medicine every six years, which is beyond the certification requirements of most practicing physicians.
